Set up Clusto in minutes

Install the Clusto daemon on a machine, install the app on your devices, activate your license, and you are running remote coding agents from anywhere.

  1. Install the CLI on Linux

    On the Linux machine that will run your agents, install the Clusto CLI:

    curl -fsSL https://dl.clusto.app/install.sh | sh

  2. Configure and start the daemon

    Run the interactive installer to install the daemon, configure its connection and cluster settings, and start the service:

    clusto install

  3. Install the app

    Get the native app for Windows, Linux, or Android from the download page. Use the full web app on iPhone, iPad, macOS, or any supported browser.

  4. Activate your license

    Open the app, go to Settings, and paste your license key (HIVE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). Your device is activated and verified offline from then on.

  5. Connect a node

    Point the app at your server address. Nodes on the same Tailscale network are discovered automatically.

  6. Share with your team

    On a Team license, invite teammates by email from your account. Each of them activates Clusto on their own devices under your plan. Then set up Team profiles in the app under Settings > Account and give your teammates the team passphrase, so everyone connects to the same clusters from one shared, end-to-end encrypted set of connection profiles.
